Who may use SignalPath

The contractor workspace is limited to its designated owner. The owner must protect the SignalPath password, authenticator, recovery codes, and active sessions and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. If you use SignalPath for a business or organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for it.

The service

SignalPath provides browser-based AV diagrams, equipment lists, estimates, quotes, agreements, invoices, exports, and server-backed client workflows. Ordinary workspace saves remain tied to the browser and device. Published workflows are hosted so the sender and client can complete the requested stages. SignalPath is not a general cloud-backup service; publishers remain responsible for retaining business records and downloadable copies they need.

The optional call-operations workspace can route disclosed and recorded calls, collect guarded project intake, schedule calls or eligible visits, send transactional reminders, and connect to provider-hosted payment. The automated assistant does not design a system, recommend equipment, troubleshoot, establish compatibility, negotiate, or provide custom pricing. Human transfers are not guaranteed.

Client links and authority

Client links are unlisted, not confidential access controls: anyone with the exact URL may be able to view the published quote or project page. Downloading a completed signed agreement separately requires verification of the assigned client email. A publisher must have the rights and permission needed to share every name, address, image, price, plan, and other detail included. A client must use their own identity and may act for a business only if authorized. Do not forward a verification code or use another person’s code or identity.

Quote approval and change requests

Approving a quote records the client’s verified intent to proceed with the displayed scope and pricing and requests a final agreement. Quote approval is not an electronic signature, does not itself authorize equipment purchasing or installation, and does not itself charge the client. The client may instead submit a required explanation requesting changes. A revised quote is a new version; earlier responses remain in the audit history and do not approve the revision.

Agreements and electronic signatures

A new electronic signature is collected only on an agreement after the publisher has reviewed and approved the agreement version. The client must review the immutable agreement, verify the listed email address, consent to electronic records, confirm signing authority, and adopt either a typed or drawn signature with the intent to sign. SignalPath records the exact version and fingerprint, approvals, signature, timestamps, IP address, browser information, and an audit identifier, then produces an immutable signed copy with the accepted quote and diagram attached.

Before signing, the client may download the agreement, request a paper copy, or decline electronic signing by contacting the sender or legal@usesignalpath.com. The publisher is responsible for accurate terms, proper signer identification, required disclosures, and legal advice appropriate to the transaction. SignalPath provides evidence of intent, attribution, integrity, and retention, but is not a notary, certificate authority, identity-verification provider, or law firm and does not guarantee enforceability in every jurisdiction or transaction.

Invoices, Stripe, and payment

New invoices are payment documents and do not collect signatures. An initial payment may use a publisher-supplied secure invoice or payment link. When an agreement requires no initial payment, SignalPath skips that payment step. A publisher may later release a final balance through Stripe Checkout embedded in SignalPath. Any gratuity is optional, begins at zero, and is separate from the contracted balance. A verified successful final payment may close the project workflow automatically. The publisher may instead record an outside payment or close a project through an owner-only override. The payment provider’s services, payment methods, fees, disputes, refunds, and processing are governed by the publisher’s and payer’s agreements with that provider. SignalPath does not hold payment credentials or guarantee a payment will be authorized, completed, reversible, or free of dispute.

A cleared-payment status means the workflow is ready for the publisher to consider purchasing. It does not cause SignalPath to order equipment, schedule installation, or perform work. Ordering and scheduling are separate, explicit owner actions. Previously signed invoice links and certificates created under the earlier feature remain locked and retained as historical evidence.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create or upload. You grant SignalPath a limited license to host, reproduce, transform, and display it only as needed to provide the features you request, including client links, email delivery, immutable PDFs, diagrams, and payment references. You represent that your content and use do not infringe another person’s rights or violate law.

Acceptable use

You may not use SignalPath to:

• break the law, facilitate fraud, impersonate another person, or publish deceptive documents;
• upload malware, illegal material, or content that infringes privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights;
• probe, bypass, disrupt, overload, scrape, or automate access without written permission;
• circumvent limits, access another publisher’s workflow controls, guess unlisted links, intercept codes, forge webhooks, or replay one-time actions;
• collect personal information from children under 13.

SignalPath may block actions, remove shared content, preserve evidence, or restrict access when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules or protect clients, publishers, and the service.

Professional and transaction disclaimer

SignalPath is a documentation and workflow tool, not an electrical-engineering, code-compliance, safety, tax, accounting, or legal service. Diagrams and user-authored terms may omit constraints or contain errors. Publishers and clients must independently review wiring, power, structural, pricing, tax, permit, contract, and installation details with qualified professionals before purchase or installation.

Third-party services

Hosting, email delivery through Resend, calling through Plivo and, when enabled, Plivo messaging, guarded voice processing through Retell, transcription through Deepgram, calendar, routes, and advertising measurement through Google, and payment processing through Stripe are third-party services subject to their own terms, availability, and privacy practices. SignalPath is not responsible for provider outages, rejected calls or messages, route or calendar errors, payment failures, or actions taken within those services.

Availability and warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. SignalPath does not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, error-free output, legal sufficiency, or fitness for a particular project. Users are responsible for backups and for reviewing every generated, exported, signed, or shared document.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SignalPath and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for losses caused by deleted local data, reliance on a diagram or document, unauthorized forwarding of a client link, delivery or payment providers, or another party’s actions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes, suspension, and contact

Features and these terms may change as the service evolves. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them. SignalPath may suspend or discontinue features and may preserve or disclose information when legally required.
