Terms of Service
These terms set the rules for using SignalPath. By using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service or publish client links.
Effective and last updated August 3, 2026Who may use SignalPath
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. If you use SignalPath for a business or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
The service
SignalPath provides browser-based tools for AV diagrams, equipment lists, estimates, quotes, invoices, exports, and optional read-only client links. Local saves are tied to the browser and device. SignalPath is not a cloud backup service for local diagrams; you are responsible for downloading backups and retaining business records you need.
Client links and personal information
Client links are unlisted, not private: anyone with the exact URL can view the published content. Before publishing, you must have the necessary rights and permission to share every name, address, image, price, plan, and other detail included. Do not publish highly sensitive personal data. Links expire 365 days after their latest publication and may be removed earlier for safety, legal, operational, or abuse-prevention reasons.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you create or upload. You grant SignalPath a limited license to host, reproduce, and display content only as needed to operate the features you request, including generating and serving a client link. You represent that your content and use of the service do not infringe another person’s rights or violate law.
Acceptable use
You may not use SignalPath to:
- break the law, facilitate fraud, impersonate another person, or publish deceptive documents;
- upload malware, active content, illegal material, or content that infringes privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights;
- probe, bypass, disrupt, overload, scrape, or automate access to the service without written permission;
- circumvent publishing limits, access another publisher’s link controls, or attempt to discover unlisted links;
- use the service to collect personal information from children under 13.
SignalPath may block publishing, remove shared content, or restrict access when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules or protect users and the service.
Professional and transaction disclaimer
SignalPath is a documentation tool, not an electrical-engineering, code-compliance, safety, tax, accounting, or legal service. Diagrams may omit constraints or contain user errors. Quotes and invoices do not by themselves establish acceptance, payment, licensing, permit approval, or a binding scope of work. Users and clients must independently verify wiring, power, structural, pricing, tax, and installation details with qualified professionals before purchase or installation.
Availability and warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. SignalPath does not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, error-free output, or fitness for a particular project. You are responsible for backups and for reviewing all exported or shared documents.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SignalPath and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for losses caused by deleted local data, reliance on a diagram or quote, unauthorized forwarding of a client link, or third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes, suspension, and contact
Features and these terms may change as the service evolves. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them. SignalPath may suspend or discontinue features and may preserve or disclose information when legally required. Questions, abuse reports, and copyright or privacy concerns may be sent to legal@usesignalpath.com.
